These shoes have a very nice insole and are lightweight. I've worn them a couple of times and there was no breaking in period for them. Unfortunately, they seem to run on the small side, so I don't wear them much at all. I would have returned them but didn't realize how undersized they were until I wore them out on a hike.

As a traveling teaching artist, I spend a great deal of time in airports and on airplanes, then on my feet teaching in classrooms and workshop spaces. These shoes support my feet without feeling clunky, look good with various types of pants, and wear well. The only big drawback is that the soles do not grip wet surfaces at all; you feel you've suddenly stepped onto ice. But for everyday walking and working on your feet, these shoes are great. I bought this pair to supplement another pair I bought six months ago. The older pair shows little wear though I've worn them extensively.
