Teva Terra-Fi® 2 Sport Sandals - Microban® (For Men)

Very comfortable sandal, that was fine from day 1. The only downside is the footbed is plastic-like stuff which makes your foot sweat a bit on hot days. My Teva leather sandals are better in that regard.

I wear sandals all the time even in cold weather. Teva makes a terrific sandal--long wearing and comfortable.

I would wear Teva sandals year 'round if weather permitted. I searched for a replacement for a 2 year old pair of Teva Sport sandals, and found the Terra-Fi sandals an excellent replacement.

I bought a second pair of these sandals because usually when I find something that I really like I can not get them again.

I bought one women's pair for myself at first. Then the second pair for my husband. After that, two of my friends asked me to help them to place the order. And one of the friend bought one pair for his father yesterday. Who will be the next? They were made in China. But we can't get the attrative price listed on STP in China. That's a pity. Transportation twice produces much carbon emission.

I've worn Teva Terra-Fi sandals for many years, for hiking and for daily use, even over light snow (using heavier pile socks). The traction is great on slickrock, and the durability, until my most recent pair, has been great. However, some recent pairs have given me two problems. (1) Some (but not all) pairs have excessive arch support -- so the sandals are painful for me to wear unless I remove some of the arch materials using a sharp knife. Since some people need this kind of arch support, while I and some others don't, perhaps Teva could offer different varieties of this sandal with HI-MEDIUM-LOW arch-support options. (2) The rear strap-connector on my last pair fell apart after my first all-day hike in it. The older models had a simple triangle that was very durable; the connector that fell apart was fancier but didn't last long. If the connector on the pair that I just bought falls apart in a similar way, I may say goodbye to Tevas forever.

This is one of the few sandals in this style that provides great arch support.
