Teva Toachi Sport Sandals with Toe Bumpers (For Men)

I buy the men's size in these because my feet need more width due to an injury (TMI?). The first time I put on a pair of Teva sandals, many moons ago, my feet became insanely happy. This happened again when I bought my first pair of Keen sandals, also many moons ago. Now it happens again--3 times in one lifespan? How great is this? These sandals are as light as my original Tevas and as bombproof as my Keens. Plus they give my ailing big toe good protection. Simply the best sandals ever made. Not too bad lookin', either. Love 'em, wear 'em everywhere in warm weather.

When your feet hurt, style becomes less important than comfort. These sandles give me the high arch support I need with a heavily cushioned sole. :)

They have almost zero arch supports. They fall off your feet if you play too rough, they're bulky, do not breathe well. In short - I'd rather go barefoot, and actually did on one ocassion.

Good design and materials; less weight would yield five stars.

I had the 2007, they seem to have changed the material a bit. It is not as soft and not as comfortable as the 2007. They look exactly the same, but i think they used 'green' materials which made it stiffer and itchier.

Great Sandals great support and I realy like the quick release.

I was looking for sandals to wear fishing from in boat that had decent arch support, and these fill the bill. All synthetic, so no shrinking, and the toe protector design is novel and useful. The bit about draining water out through the sole is a bit of a marketing reach, IMO.

The drain frame mesh is so weak it lets sticks poke through, so just fill the slots with silicone. And the arch is really high, so slice an 1/8" off the excellent hard plastic shoe frame, and another 1/8" off the foam footbed, and you have a fantastic shoe, very slip resistant on wet rocks, and protects your feet well from portaging rocks.

Teva shoes are well made. I think that I would prefer a velcro closure instead of the clip.
