“I have been wearing (and continue to wear various Teva shoes/sandals since the 1980s. My first was the original and used it for that purpose (US Navy Spec Ops 22yrs, they worked great going in and out of the water). The Trail Wraptor has been a very durable and good fitting sandal since I got my first pair. Since then I have continued to stay ahead of the game and continued to buy the 1st generation. I started looking for a new pair and found that this was the only site that had the old style Wraptors. (My feelings about putting all the toe gaurds on "sandals" is that why not buy a breathable water shoe?) Anyway! The heel pad is higher than the originals (and no cushion pads and there is no cushioning over the instep. Otherwise the shoe felt about the same.”
