Teva Universal Buckle 2 Sport Sandals (For Men)

I've had Tevas for 20 years now...and this is only my 4th pair. I always like the buckle models. The velcro wore out on my first pair long before the usability was gone. This model is very comfortable and soft. The straps are well padded. The are very nice looking. However.... There is one glaring low point about this model: the sole compound is so soft that rocks stick right in like the soles are made of gum. I have to pick them out, even using pliers sometimes. They won't even come out by scraping your sandal on the ground. Be very careful to not wear them indoors on nice floors. If so, check the soles carefully first.

I couldn't give these sandals a perfect score (even though they are comfortable and they have a great arch support)due to the sticky sole and stinky chemical smell. Why they have this, I don't know, but I hope Teva never repeats that mistake again. Thank goodness that STP offered a dealflyer deal that I couldn't pass up, otherwise, I would have not purchased these. One plus side is that I do like the buckle system over the Velcro and wish Teva would make all their sandals that way.

THESE SHOES WERE A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.THEY DIDN'T LAST AND THE SOLES OF THE SHOES COLLECTED EVERYTHING. OUR CAR WAS ALWAYS FILTHY FROM THE PEBBLES BEING BROUGHT IN BY THE RUBBER SOLES.

My first and last pair of Tevas. Other good sandals out there that will hold up. Thank god I didn't pay full price. Small rocks get stuck between treads making them slippery on hard surfaces, soles disintegrated quickly, I bought these in June and it's now September and they are going in the trash,

These sandals are comfortable once you adjust them. I had to loosen up the back strap to get a little more toe room but otherwise they are perfect.

very lightweight, hugs my feet, I wish there were more colors available.

like the buckle idea. buckle seems like an improvement over velcro. buckle seems a bit skimpy for long term usage. the location of the buckle that far over on the side is hard to me to reach as I am older.

I have bad feet from a lifetime of running. I need a sandal that will allow my feet in their current shape be supported without rubbing. Teva's sport sandals are the best I have found for me. I wear them a lot and so they wear out (straps break) after about a year. But the affordable price allows me to replace them. The only negative was a strong, persistent insecticide that filled the sealed plastic bag the sandals came in. It stayed around for days. What was that? I guess it is one of the down sides of the global economy.
