No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“It's a cute looking sandal, got compliments on the looks, but wearing it is another story...First off the red die bleeds (just from sweat and heat, not water), so it leaves stains on your skin for days. Second, the construction is poor, the loop by the little toe rubs so bad that I had to wear a band-aid under it most of the time. Third, the straps started falling apart at the seams after 2 months. I would not recommend these sandals. By the way, the foot bed is beige suede and it gets gross looking after a week. I had to throw these out after 2.5 months; I normally can wear shoes for a year or so.”
