    I am a true size 9 and these are a perfect fit. I wear them without socks so that may be why. If I bought a half size larger like others mention here I know they would slip in the heel. They are smooth inside and I have worn them all day and they are comfortable. I also care about style and they are great looking. Classy and unique. Truly a good find.

    I bought these shoes a half size too big because other customers had written that the shoes run small. With the half size larger these shoes fit well. I wanted shoes that did not look like every other style and also a shoe that I could wear while traveling in Croatia that did not scream "American". These shoes were great on both counts.
