It is a beautiful color, stylish tailored look, but I can’t see that it is any roomier than what she has now. She won’t be layering next winter, and in the Berkshires you layer; it’s cold. They claim we shouldn’t be scared off by the thin down, it will keep her warm. She loves it so much she won’t let me return it, and since it is sold out, I can’t size up. Will hope they are right and it is warmer than it looks!

In fact when I was initially getting it out of the plastic bag fresh out of the box the zipper was stuck part way up. Nevertheless the jacket fit nice over a sweatshirt. I had ordered the only color left in medium...a pale grey and though I was very tempted to keep it I had a nagging thought that it would be hard to keep clean so I returned it. I also thought I would like a longer parka like coat with a hood.

I was skeptical it would be warm but I wore it during a recent cold snap here (windchills in the negative) and it did the job! It's very flattering. It is form-fitting so if you think you might wear a bulk sweater or fleece under it (though it won't be needed) I'd order up a size.

North Face never lets me down. I bought a NF jacket 6-7 years ago from Macy’s and it’s still holding up like I bought it just yesterday. Only problem I’m not an X-Small anymore. I love this jacket! It doesn’t have the bulkyness that I hate and is still super warm. I was so on the fence with buying it because there were limited sizes and colors left. But let me tell you the silvery grey color did not disappoint!! I get compliments on it all the time. My only complaint is there isn’t a hood. But I have a ton of knit hats instead. I got it in the size medium and it is true to size. I can even wear a sweatshirt underneath it and still can move around freely. It’s a very classy looking, warm, jacket that I will be using for another 6-7 years. The entire coat inside and out is more of a silver grey color and the words: north Face are written out in white font on the front and back of the coat. I ordered it online and Received it in one week. Can’t wait to enjoy the cold Jersey weather in my new coat!! I highly recommend.

I looked around and noticed this jacket for less than $100. It came and she loves it. It is warm and fits her perfectly.
