Typical NF sizing - snug heel with a generous toe box and good, but not overdone, arch support. These are made with softshell fabric a lot like the stuff NF uses in their jackets, so they breath well and are water resistant, but are a bit on the warm side - I won't be running in these in mid-summer. They look great, fit great and are built really solidly with stout reinforcements in high wear areas. Best for cooler weather/environments, wet or changing conditions. These would make a great low hiker for fall and spring.

These trail runners are well made, water-resistant (not quite waterproof), lightweight, good-looking, and comfortable. The only problem is that they lack lateral support. I had read this in reviews, which noted this on descents. But I notice it all the time, probably because I compare them to my Lafuma Sky Race OT Running Shoes (also from STP, and also water-resistant trail runners), which have much better support and, which frankly, are better shoes. Still, these Chinscrapers are good.

consider getting 1/2 size bigger as it appears to be more accurate to your shoe size
