4.0 out of 5 stars. Gorgeous jacket with minor issues

I have the pink/ plum/ orange version in a size small & LOVE the colors! The outer layer feels like a true small, although the sleeves are quite long. The inner layer feels a bit more like an XS, especially under the arms. Reattaching the layers to each other is somewhat time consuming, but probably no worse than any other 3-in-1. The pockets are convenient, but could be larger. Finally, why does North Face insist on putting the drawstring knot inside the pocket? No one wants to feel this with her fingers!

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful color, not enough pockets for me

The colors are very nice in person. The shell and liner are nice. But there is no cell phone pocket in either the shell or liner, nor any larger pockets for goggles, etc. There is a small pocket on the outside of the shell, maybe for an ipod or a lens cleaning cloth. There also wasn't a powder skirt. Nice coat, but not the right features for me.

About The North Face

Believe it or not, The North Face story didn’t begin on a high-altitude ascent. It actually began in San Francisco at less than 200 feet above sea level. However, what started as a neighborhood mountaineering shop has since evolved into an industry-leading, award-winning outdoor equipment and apparel brand. Since its inception more than 40 years ago, The North Face has grown to include clothing and gear designed for nearly every type of adventure, from alpine skiing to backpacking to trail running. Today, The North Face jackets and pants are chosen by world-class athletes, and The North Face rugged boots help carry explorers through the toughest terrain, from the icy slopes of Everest to Utah’s Green River basin.
