Made of the fabric it is, i couldnt expect it to be more waterproof. It is extremely light, so good for active sport type uses. Also beneficial to those uses, it is extremely breathable. The hood is great for those of us susceptible to wind bitten ears, or any massive heat loss through the head area in cool weather. It is a great looking jacket as well, i dont think twice about wearing it as casual wear. The best thing about this particular purchase was the price. This was incredibly inexpensive for a TNF product. You simply do not see this quality at this price point very often.

It is very manuverable to lift all sorts of food items; the pockets are plenty ample; the hood is a great wind blocker and I do not over heat when I need to step out of the refridgeration.
