Light jacket good for the rain. Like a lot of other rain jackets, poor fit and kind of "mechanical" fitting in that it feels like a one size fits none fit when you have it on. Waterproof but not the best against wind.

Light weight - folds up very small. Working out very well for our occasional wet weather here in Southern California. Will work well for cold/wet weather hikes in our local mountains.

Love the jacket. No pit zips hender ventilation but save weight. Packs super small so I generally carry on every outing, even if wet/cold weather isn't in the forecast... just in case.

North Face Products are finished well and have no cosmetic blems. They have been small in sizing recently. This product is best used as an outer layer with successive inner layers, hence a slighty larger outer size will be essential for proper use.

This jacket is lightweight but durable enough to protect me from those afternoon showers during hikes in the rockies

Bought the jacket as a summer casual raincoat. 4 stars for 2 reasons: Hood rolls into a high thick collar. Sleeves are velcro without much elasticity for a rainproof fit when your arm is raised. Still a good deal for Gore Tex Pac-Lite.

I've had this jacket for a couple weeks and I wear it when I commute by bike to work each day when it's raining. I think with rain jackets it's often only a matter of time before that neat water wicking membrane wears off and this jacket has already begun to lose it's ability to quickly wick water, which seems a little quick, but really it's the gore-tex that I'm relying on to stay dry. Even when wet, the jacket seems to remain fairly breathable and it seems to be completely. My only real problem is that the hood is kinda awkward. It has the side adjuster and the "back of head" adjuster, but I still haven't been able to really get it dialed in. I find myself constantly fiddling with when I ride my bike. And the front brim doesn't seem to point up, so the rain drips into my face. All-in-all a pretty weak hood. Final verdict-- good jacket, good price, weakish hood
