I was disappointed in this brand. The rise is short and the leg wants to roll up when sitting even though it has a larger leg opening. It is not a short that looks slimming, would be ok for kayaking with the lighterweight material, but very uncomfortable for me. I am 5'3 and wear a 16-18W, this is not cut right for the fuller figure and I am sending it back especially given it's price of [$].
