    We spent this Christmas week in Puerto Rico so the El Yunque rainforest was on our to do list. Needless to say,I hiked up to the summit and back down without a hitch! the sandals performed extremely well during the torrential downpour we encountered on the way up VERY little slipping on the wet rocks and let me tell you,the trail is not the best in the first place. I wore no socks,since they would have been soaked from the start. My feet came out of there without a scratch.Walked around old San Juan wearing those puppies the very next day.

    I purchased these for my husband who wears a size 12. A lot of the reviews indicated that they ran small and to purchase a size larger so I did, mistake. I purchased a size 13 and they're a size too big. Even though my husband thought they were great, they will have to be returned for a size 12.
