    I wear a 10W and very hard to fit. These North Face sandals are a great fit as the velcro is separately adjustable around the heel, ankle, and across the foot. No break in necessary. I wore them on a hike the first day. Look great with skirts, pants, shorts.

    I love these sandals. I was told to order size smaller than I wear. and I was concerned, ordering and not trying on the shoe. Need them for a trip and concerned getting them in time. Got them in 2 days. Perfect timeing. Put them on and very comfy! no need to break them in. Love the style and color, fit...and price. I love The North Face. I buy the clothing all the time. and the sandals .. Yes! love them.

    they would be good for only outdoor sports, but too bulky looking to wear for other more casual outdoor activities. the bulkiness did not equal heaviness though. one of the crossing straps does not adjust, which made it a little wide for my feet. i also ordered a whole size smaller and they were still a little big.

    These were very comfortable, durable, and had great treads. However, they made my feet look huge. The straps and padding are really supportive; these would be great sandals for hiking, walking through streams, kayaking, etc. But I just couldn't get past the bulkiness.
