These are a perfect fit and just what I was looking for in a hiking shoe. I require a wide toe box but a narrow heel and these were a perfect fit! Wore them right out of the box on an easy 6 mile hike and they were great. The vibram sole is a must for the many rock faces we encounter here in the Adirondacks. GREAT SHOE!

Runs true to size; adds stability and cushions each step with the Vibram soles; great for orthotics and are easily laced up to stay on your feet. I have worn them every day since they arrived to walk and run with my Golden Retriever. An exceptional running shoe/trail shoe and a value purchase. They are very light weight. The color is exactly as shown on the site and you'll wish it came in many colors because they are so comfortable you'll want to wear them all the time. I have shortened Achilles tendons and wear orthotics to correct my foot problems. I am not an easy fit because I have a very narrow heal and need a little width in the toe box to accommodate my orthotics. This was a perfect fit in every way because I was able to lace them up around my ankle area and the toe box was wide enough (but not too wide). No breaking in for me with this shoe. I have them on right now, too.

I have been looking for a good cross trainer type shoe, unsuccessfully, until now. I bought this for trails, but have fallen in love with it for workouts and everyday. It is super comfortable!
