5.0 out of 5 stars. Very, very comfortable!

I walk and hike a lot and it's imperative not to get blisters or hot spots. I want my shoes to have a fairly wide toebox but a narrow heel. The Northface Hedgehogs are perfect ... very comfortable. They even look good compared to other trail shoes I bought.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice shoes - size runs small

These are very nice shoes. - I was disappointed I never got to try them because they were too small and the next size was out of stock.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. A tad big

I wear orthotics, so I usually order a half-size up. These 10.5s were large, even with my orthotic on top of the shoe's insert.

Great shoe. secure tred, comfortable interior. Fit great the first time out
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. Narrow

This shoe looked well built. I sent it back because it was too narrow. I do not wear wide shoes and have not had a problem with that before, but this shoe was way to narrow for comfort.
  • 2.0 out of 5 stars. not for me

ordered these shoes in hopes they would be comfortable to wear at a new job where I would be on my feet 10 or more hours a day. Sadly, putting them on the first time, I knew there would be way too much of a break in period due to the stiffness.

About The North Face

Believe it or not, The North Face story didn’t begin on a high-altitude ascent. It actually began in San Francisco at less than 200 feet above sea level. However, what started as a neighborhood mountaineering shop has since evolved into an industry-leading, award-winning outdoor equipment and apparel brand. Since its inception more than 40 years ago, The North Face has grown to include clothing and gear designed for nearly every type of adventure, from alpine skiing to backpacking to trail running. Today, The North Face jackets and pants are chosen by world-class athletes, and The North Face rugged boots help carry explorers through the toughest terrain, from the icy slopes of Everest to Utah’s Green River basin.
