Reviewed by Carrie from California on Thursday, May 02, 2013I like the look and feel of these shorts but they run small. I'm usually a 4 but the size 4 is tight. I'm not going to return them because there is a little give in the stretch fabric. I wish I read the reviews first.

They almost would have fit but the distance from the crotch to the waist (I'm sure there is a name for that) was too short. I could get them buttoned. . . but there was some [...] happening as a result. I returned them, not sure if going to try a bigger size.

I normally wear a size 2 (or 4 for a loose fit) in all The North Face shorts. I ordered these in size 4 and coundn't even get them zipped once I struggled to get them over my thighs :/ I am not sure that a 6 would even fit so I will not chance further return shipping charges.
