Reviewed by Persephone from Virginia on Friday, May 17, 2013Like other reviewers, I thought that the pants ran small on the curves. I wear an 8, sometimes 10, and should have ordered the 10. I loved the style and color, though, although I thought that perhaps the fabric wouldn't breath too well.

Reviewed by AHS from Boston on Thursday, May 09, 2013These are my 2nd or 3rd try for hiking pants. Am grateful for the reviews that lead me to purchase a size (or two) up. The cut is a tad awkward with a lower rise than would be expected on such pants. But they fit and should do the trick. Thanks to all who took the time to review so that the rest of us could benefit. Oddly the tightness of that top button is annoying though I do expect it will loosen with use.

The size 8 is a perfect fit. The pants ride just below the waist which I like. This is my second order of these pants. The earlier order came in a dark greenish blue. I think the taupe is probably the nicer color.
