The North Face Minibus 23 Tent - 2-Person, 3-Season

Have not camped since the 60's when I used a great German tent and a hard to set up canvas base camp tent. Tents have changed. I exchanged a lighter 2 person tent for the Minibus, happy to pay extra for headroom, two people can sit up in this tent for eating, games... I am 5'3" and sleep in the tent alone with my stuff, hate being cramped. Would not carry it backpacking for just me but I car camp and just like things compact. Also, I'm a sucker for good design and this tent has it in ALL the features. Not a bum decision or a cheap element to be found. The stuff sack is even amazing with great cinch straps and plenty of room, no struggling. The colors knock me out, the glow in the dark zip taps are v. helpful and the window in the canopy is great for those of us who are a bit claustrophobic. In short, worth the weight for two backpackers, pure luxury for one car camper (short me), simple set up, great headroom for two tall people, thoughtful/useful details, great stuff sack, drop dead beautiful design and color. Disclaimer: have not yet tested this in hard weather...

This is a high quality tent. It set-up and take down are fast and easy. It has spacious head room and great two door access. You will enjoy this tent for years.
