Closeouts. Mountain or city street, The North Face’s Mountain sneakers have a comfortable, casual vibe that can’t be ignored. A foot-forming cork midsole, thickly padded insole and heel cushion provide for miles of soft landings, and the suede-canvas upper with contrasting crepe rubber mudguards add a functional, cool-looking dynamic.

I did not get to really use the shoes as they were too small. They appear to be a great product like all my North Face equipment but Sierra Trading Post should be more alert to sizing problems within their catalog.

I originally bought a pair of these shoes several years ago for[$] or so at a North Face store. I wore them out[...] I was so excited to find them I bought two pairs.

I did have to return and order up one half size, but feel great now. A bit stiff on top the first few days, but have broken in well.

I'm a big fan of North Face gear but this shoe was low quality. After only one week the shoes showed significant wear. The rubber toe that wraps around the front and back of the shoe started coming off first. Then everything from the sole wearing out quickly to the shoe laces coming apart. To claim this is a mountain shoe is an exaggeration. I teach high school and these didn't even stand up in the classroom. From the pictures it looks like a walked the entire Pacific Crest Trail.
