Closeouts. More hardcore than slippers, The North Face’s NSE Tent booties are built to withstand the rigors of the campsite with a ripstop nylon shell, 700 fill power down insulation and an abrasion-resistant rand.
These are my new favorite thing to wear around the house, I like that they are comfortable enough to wear with my feet up on the couch. Warm, light, and the sole is durable. I am a size 8, and ordered a medium- I have a little room in the toe, but prefer this over too snug.

These are warm and cute! My feet are always cold (even in LA) and they will be great on chilly nights when watching tv or when I'm on my boat at night. I wear a 9 and ordered a Small size. My feet slide forward in them when I walk, which makes them feel 1/2 size too small, so I see why others say that, but when I sit or put my foot against the bottom sole to look, I can feel and see they are the right size.

Cute, warm, and lightweight. I wear an 8.5 and the sizing said a small would fit 8-9.5 - WRONG! My toes hit the very front. Like other reviewers said - size up!Too bad, they went back.STP's prices are the best. No way would I pay [$] for these.

I'm using these as house slippers - I live in Montana where it gets COLD! they seem pretty sweet. nice non-skid soles, decent soles which i think might wear out pretty quickly, but they do fit the foot nicely. they seem quite wide and a bit short. Only thing to note is that the down fill isn't all that think (it's only like a half inch of 700 fill down). if I had to do over, I'd order Sierra trading post slippers which are less cute but about 1.5 inches of 650 fill down. my boyfriend has a pair and they're totally sweet. So shop around for good prices, yo!

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
We purchased these to go into our emergency travel survival kit in case we get stuck in a blizzard in our vehicle. They are warm and would certainly be useful in the above situation. My wife likes them around the house to keep her feet warm and they appear to be well made.
