Wow, perfect fit! I took a gamble on the size 2, I'm usually a 4, but the North Face 4 tends to be a bit big on me. These fit perfectly, just above the hips, roomy enough to move comfortably without being really wide in the hips. There is also an inside drawstring in the waist to help adjust. Also, I love the length, just above the knee, makes these great for being active and hiking. Material seems pretty high quality; I've had some problems with other quick-dry nylon that tends to snag and run (just like a pair of nylons), but this pair seems like the material will last better, it's a little more sturdy. They do wrinkle a bit, but not a big deal to me.

These are high quality, quick-drying, comfortable walking/hiking shorts. There's an inside waist-tie that you can use to make a better fit around the waist. The material seems high quality and abrasion resistant, which will help while hiking. They're just the right longer length, just above the knees. I loved them so much and for the price with a discount coupon, I purchased two pair.

I need shorts that work in the hot, humid weather that we are cursed with; something I can wear all day long and not have to worry about it being too delicate.

These are great all day shorts: versatile enough to go hiking and then presentable enough to go shopping or a movie. They are too casual for work.

It's hard to find shorts that are not too short or too long. This one fits my needs. I like the lightweight fabric, cut, and style. I liked this short so much that I ordered another one. A minor change I would suggest is to have a partial elastic waist rather than the drawstring adjustment.

These shorts fit great and are very cute. The only issue I have is that they wrinkle when I sit down. After a day of wear, they look pretty wrinkled.

Very comfortable, lightweight for hot summer, true fit, move well. The tie cord inside the waist has ends that scratch if you don't tie them. The cord could be cut off since the shorts fit perfectly without it.
