I'm not a hiker or runner. I teach school and wear running or trail shoes when I teach b/c they are comfortable and have good support. I haven't worn these yet b/c I ordered the wrong size, but they did feel good when I tried them on. I'm going to return and order my correct size. I wear a 7 1/2 , but ordered an 8 by mistake. The 8 is a little big on my foot so that's how I know they're running true to size. I LOVE the bright yellow color, that's a plus for me.

As I tend to supinate, these shoes are a bit too stiff for me to run more than 5 or 6 miles. However they performed well on my wooded trail. Traction was good in muddy areas. But stay away from puddles as they are not very water resistant. I ran trough a heavily dew covered field and my socks got wet.

Feels like walking on a pillow. I wear orthotics and had to remove cushioning because my heel was set too high.

The shoe is used for trail exercising, seems to be durable. I would buy this shoe again.

These shoes have been fine running on wooded trails. I didn't want a heavy trail running shoe, just something a bit more tough than my regular running shoes. These have worked out great, and they'll also be ok on the road.
