    I wear these mostly when kayaking. The lightweight material is great and feels very comfortable. Does not build up static like polypro which I hate. Yes, the sleeves are crazy on this thing! But, I still love the shirt and bought another. Since I'm not wearing this around town or to work, I don't mind dealing with the short sleeves. Unbutton the cuffs and relax for comfort.

    North Face is a quality brand, and this is a quality shirt. I purchased the large and it fit well, although i have an athletic build (or you could say my arms are too short!) so the sleeve may be too short for a regular fit. I would say that the large is equivalent to a 16.5 neck /32 sleeve fit. The blue is a nice shade and goes well with jeans.

    I own a number TNF articles of clothing, at least partly because of how well they generally fit. I was really disappointed to get this shirt in XL and find the sleeve length closer to an M. I even ordered the XL instead of an L because of a previous reviewer's comments about the sleeve length. Still had to return it. I even tried this shirt at a local gear shop hoping a different lot might have a different cut, but no luck. However, if you happen to have little Tyranosaurus arms and normal shoulder/chest size, this would be a great summer general purpose outdoors shirt. I bought it for an African safari and it would have been perfect for the heat/sun, bugs, and dust - the quick-drying nylon is lighweight and breathable, and the extra vents make sure you have plenty of air moving around to keep you cool while protecting you.

    Wear to work--I'm a medical researcher Nice fabric, very comfortable--like my previous northface shirts. The most comfortable synthetic material shirts around. I've got long arms (large ape factor), so wish I could get a longer sleeve length.
