    North Face is one of several "outdoor" companies who now sizes their products for "juniors". These are not comfortable for outdoor work if you are bigger then size 4.

    I loved the fit and style of this shirt UNTIL I wore it with a daypack. The fabric pilled VERY badly and quickly on the shoulders and back and now looks terrible.

    I ordered this shirt to use for traveling in a hot climate, to protect me from the sun. I usually wear a small or medium. I ordered a medium but the fit was too tight in the body and in the sleeves (I could not comfortably roll the sleeves up), so I returned it for a large, which fits me but is none too large. I think the shirt is too narrowly cut for an outdoor shirt which is to be used for hiking, travel, and active pursuits. I have not actually used the shirt yet so do not know if it is breathable or how it will wash. I love the color (ice blue), the feel of the fabric (rip-stop nylon) and the styling of the shirt. It just needs to be cut a little larger to be true to size.

    I'm a slim 5'6" and normally a size 4 so I ordered the light blue in small and it fits perfectly, though the color I would call more like a sea-foam, which I really like. I don't often wear shirts, prefering Ts, but this has such a flattering cut it's a keeper, especially at STP's price. The sun protection factor is another plus here in Houston.
