The North Face Shellista Lace-Up Boots - Waterproof, Insulated (For Women)

These boots are beautiful and very comfortable, but the best thing about it was that they fit perfectly and are lightweight. I had purchased two other pairs of different brands before and had to return them, so needless to say that I was very happy with these great brand.

Buying shoes via web is always dicey but this was one of my all time best online purchases. I get lots of compliments and better yet they are comfortable and very functional. Needed higher boots for deep snow dog walking and have worn them snowshoeing - I am size 8.5 and find these run true to size. LOVE THEM !

When I saw these boots I knew I had to have them. I certainly don't need them, but really wanted them. I bought new boots in the fall here at STP, and have other perfectly good pairs from previous winters, but these were a must have! I just fell in love with the style.There is something about this rugged, chic look that drew me in. I ignored my own rule of ordering a half size bigger in a boot and ordered my regular shoe size, so will send them back for a bigger size. These are so well made, appear to be very warm and are comfortable. Just by looking at them, it's obvious they are waterproof. Too warm to wear now, will anxiouly await next winter. This is my second pair of these, as I ordered too small the first time. My fault, not the boot sizing. I love these boots! I certainly did not need them, I already had bought 2 new pairs of winter boots from STP this year, which I love! This pair was just too much to resist. The description and look were great and the actual boot, even better. Too warm to wear them, it's kiling me, but it's obvious how warm and cozy they will be. Most boots with the rubber "duck" style foot part, which are great for water proof needs, are usually cold, and need layers of socks for any warmth. The foot part of these is heavily insulated so I don't foresee a problem there. The leg part, also heavily insulated, just feels great on and I have, no doubt, is very warm. They are so comfortable and the removable insole feels like a very expensive orthotic. I am also anticipating incredible traction, I've never seen a more carefully thought out sole. Put that all together, with a fabulously chic look, and I think you've got the perfect boot. I'm so glad they're mine!!

I live in Chicago and bought these as an investment during the spring and a really lame winter. But they are a great fit, easy on and off bc of the laces and will be good for foot commutes.
