Only negative is that they are not waterproof along the upper foot and leg. I have worn these all day for walking in the snowy city and my feet have been warm and comfortable. If you want to wear heavy socks, order a full size up. I think they run small/sized to wear with thin socks only. STP has the best price anywhere on this item.
