Reviewed by Mikel the plein air artist from Allegany, NY on Wednesday, March 27, 2013These have a great grip with the tread. The fit is comfortable for long periods and they are quick and easy to adjust, no clumsy clips to mess with when adjusting the laces. They are very lightweight an there is no fatigue trying to lug around a heavier boots on longer jaunts. They are sharp looking, have an n=understated color and look natural in the woods.
Reviewed by Cyclety68 from Cincinnati on Sunday, March 10, 2013I haven't had these boots on the trail yet to give them a workout but they feel good and fit good in the time I've worn them casually. They should work well as a good light dayhiking boot.
Reviewed by Neldon from Idaho on Saturday, March 2, 2013Have had these for 1 month after keeping these vs some Salomon XA Pro Mids and Scarpa Moraine Mid. The later were twice the cost and better constructed but had narrow toe boxes. One of the pluses with these is a wider toe box. They are quite comfortable for just kicking around, and not stiff. The sole has very good traction on snow and ice. The one drawback is they are hot sometime. Presume it is from the waterproof membrane, but at the end of the day I find myself wanting to take them off because my feet are too warm. Maybe a waterproof shoe is always going to have some element of this. I ordered a 1/2 size larger and they fit perfect.
Answer If you are a UK 11 you would need to order a US size 12.
