Reviewed by Susan from Portland, Oregon on Tuesday, July 2, 2013Terrific shoes, and the first trail runners of at least a dozen pairs to fit me. Very well made, with plenty of room to swap out insoles: I've got Superfeet in there now, will be replacing them with something custom (maybe SOLE). Fit runs slightly small, I'm a half size larger in these than in Adidas. A screaming deal at this price. Highly recommend.
Reviewed by Cohiker from Western Colorado on Tuesday, June 4, 2013I bought these for summer wear - I have an old pair of TNF trail runners with vibram soles that I really put miles on in winter, but they are waterproof and too hot for summer. Unfortunately, these are somewhat "restyled" - the sole is no longer Vibram, the traction is not nearly as good, and I run over everything from granite to slickrock to scree - these would not be stable. The seam where the base of the tongue is sewn to the toebox left a bunch of lumpy material hanging down into the shoe that rubbed my foot raw. I realize TNF is not a shoe company, and I must have just lucked out with my old pair. If you just want them for knocking about, and the crappy seam at the toebox doesn't rub you, then they will no doubt be fine.
