The North Face V14 Shorts - UPF 30 (For Men)

These look great on my hubs. 2 thinks were a little odd...they are button fly (haven't seen that in awhile) and there is a slight pattern to the material (it is so light they look solid when standing off). Hubs missed the tag at the fly that often says something like 'explore the unknown' or something. He has lean legs and these are not a full cut, so it looks nice on him.

Once you wear good quality shorts made with nylon you can't go back to cotton. At least that's the way I feel. These shorts are great. I would prefer a zipper fly instead of buttons but it's not a big deal. And the side cargo pockets don't have a button or velcro. So those 2 reasons I didn't give the shorts 5 stars. But still wonderful shorts. The back pockets button and the left pocket has a mini zip pocket in it which I love. They are lightweight and nice color. Come to about my knees which is the way I like them, Overall great shorts.

These are very comfortable, lightweight, synthetic fabric shorts. Great for around the house, camping, kayaking, yardwork, etc. Not attractive or flattering due to the odd color and ripstop pattern and the ballooney back and cargo pockets. They're not hideous, but don't let the fancy brand name fool you, these are not stylish. Good for those focused on function only.
