“Great shoes, but don't wear long”

“For a while, it was hard to find a running shoe anymore that is equally capable on trail and road. Where I live, one run can often be on both. The Voza fills the bill and has great cushioning and arch support. I also feel confidant running with them in the rain and in some snow (then the ice joggers come on). I only have two problems with them. I do not understand why all the manufacturers seem to think that feet get so hot that they need mesh uppers. This is not good in the winter. Also, the durability is not as good as I had hoped. I think I was able to get 7 months out of them. I used to be able to get a year out of running shoes running 5 miles a day on a mix of pavement and trail. I have found that this seems to be more the standard, and I am very displeased about this. Running shoes are already very expensive without having to replace them so frequently also.”
