Closeouts. Whether you’re running the ridge, or scouring the deep forest trails, Wolf Ridge trail running shoes from The North Face are sure to make a sturdy, supportive impact.
Lightweight synthetic upper with reflective accents
I usually get a good fit in NF trail running shoes, but these run narrow in the forefoot. Because of previous reviews, I ordered my usual size ten and an a ten and a half. The ten was too narrow. The ten and a half was wide enough, but too long. Had to send them both back. Just based on wearing them around the house, these are really beefy motion control/stability trail shoes that are great for over-pronators like me. If only they were sized like other NF shoes...

These shoes fit straight out of the box. I'm training for a 100km ultra marathon and run a lot of km's in a typical week. I brought these shoes specifically for the North Face 100 and am impressed with there performance. The only point of concern is the stiff arch support which although does not blister feels a little strange.

Followed the recommedation for ordering slightly larger and they fit and felt good right out of the box. They haven't been worn enough to rate durability. I have a problem with pronation and these shoes seem like they will help stablilized my feet.

I have two trails in my home town that I use,one is a 3.25 mile trail with a lot of mix, this is the trail I have used the shoes on and they did great even in mud.The other trail is a 6 mile round trip up Tehachapi Mountain at 7,898 ft.I will test the shoes on this one in the spring, due to the snow I just hike up it now.
