The North Face XTC Zip Neck Top - Midweight, Base Layer (For Women)

As my other reviews note, NF runs small. I am a toned size 10 but size Large is not loose. Top could be a bit longer. Nice gray/silver color. NF always over priced so while better price here, still pricey.

This top has a nice design and smooth texture. I ordered it because it is "midweight". It is thinner than I had expected. I was hoping that it would be a lot thicker to keep warm in the Winter time. The material feels cool, which is not ideal when the weather is cold outside. It doesn't keep me as warm as I would like. This is something that I can use all year round, except in the Summer time when it gets too hot. I do recommend this item. Just don't rely on it keeping you very warm.

I bought this to layer on a hiking trip in late fall. It was lighter than I was expecting. The fabric itself looked to be more gray than the photo shows, but it was very stylish and comfy. I used it as my base layer and by the end of my hike, I had peeled down to just this layer. Perfect! Highly recommend!
