Reviewed by Mia in Arvada from Minneapolis on Thursday, October 24, 2013It's a tad too small for my 5'4" frame. I'm afraid I might roll off it at night but it's built well and Therm-a-Rest is quality material made to last. I can lose a little more weight, or save it for a child.
Reviewed by Hiker from Michigan on Tuesday, October 8, 2013Seems great so far! I left it out overnight with the valve open on the floor at home, but it never really self inflated. So, I blew it up in the morning and laid on it. Super comfy! Now, it's being stored valve open. I haven't had a chance to take it out camping yet, so it's hard to say how it'll do.
Reviewed by L from NJ on Monday, October 7, 2013Might be a good sleeping pad, but I would hesitate to buy this from Sierra Trading Post as a "2nd" (supposedly retains function, but may have minor aesthetic imperfections).
The pad was stamped with "Irregular"- a "second" from the factory. This is noted on the site, I unfortunately missed it. Totally my mistake.
The product seems well enough made. The nozzle to inflate the pad works well, good design I think. I took it to Utah for two weeks right after buying it (I just got back). Each night I woke up around 5 hrs into the night on the ground. Every night before sleep I had to reinflate and make sure the knob was secured shut. I still continued to lose air. Not impressed with this "Second". Seems like trash.
Reviewed by Jo the camping beginner from Melbourne Australia on Thursday, September 12, 2013have not slept on the mattress yet, but have inflated it and lay on it and it seems very comfortable and very warm... very pleased... Can't wait to use it in November.
Reviewed by Michele who has spent thousands of $$ at STP from Pahrump, NV on Wednesday, September 11, 2013It's nice; after all, it's a Therm-A-Rest! However, the stuff sack is a joke. This is my first Therm-A-Rest and I can't figure out what relegates it to "seconds" status unless the problem is this pathetic stuff sack. I can't discern any difference in the added-warmth "zones." The discounted price is fantastic.
