I had to fly, so I wanted something light that would fit in my suitcase. It fit well, my luggage was less than 50lbs. It definitely insulated me from the cold ground in the tent, it was in the 40’s at night. It provided some cushion, but I was missing an air mattress. The tent was on grass, but I had bruises on my hips from sleeping on the hard ground. But I’ll use it in the future if I need to.

It is reasonably comfortable compared to similar mats, and the "egg crate" configuration of the foam seems to trap air space and is somewhat warm (even in hot weather). Most people will probably find this pad satisfactory.

Read good things about this one and bought it since it was so cheap. Seems pretty comfy with a sleeping bag on concrete and is a generous size. I'm happy and hope it performs well on potentially rocky ground as well.
