Thermalogic Weathermate Curtains - 160x 84," Grommet-Top, Insulated

I had ordered these but only 80 inches wide which I felt were not wide enough once up. I have not hung these yet. I like the fact they are washable. I am hoping they keep the sun out and the cold out. I ordered khaki because we live in the far north and dark in the winter is not better. I bought them for our tenants and now we are moving into the townhouse. We shall see how they work out when I wash them not the tenants. I plan to double up the other ones previously purchased on bedroom windows so they will all be 160 wide. The backs on one set seemed to have broken apart....too high heat??? Inexpensive way to buy window treatments especially with the extra discounts.

These curtains look great. But they smell sour--almost like tuna. They are being returned.

These come out of the package very wrinkled, I haven't hung them yet because I use light curtains in the summer, so I'm not sure how hard it will be to get them out. The curtains seem like they will keep the cold out during the winter and block out light. I noticed there are little cracks in the backing where the curtains were folded, it looks funny because the light shines through the little spots, but they weren't bad enough for me to send them back. They a good value for the money.

I am very pleased with the curtains BUT... one is just slightly longer than the other. My husband says they smell awful and the color listed on the web site was "burgundy". I really wanted "red" curtains and took a chance. Good thing I wanted red, because I would NOT call them burgundy at all.

The metal grommets rusted onto the curtains. But they are very nice curtains and would do the job well.
