I had ordered these but only 80 inches wide which I felt were not wide enough once up. I have not hung these yet. I like the fact they are washable. I am hoping they keep the sun out and the cold out. I ordered khaki because we live in the far north and dark in the winter is not better. I bought them for our tenants and now we are moving into the townhouse. We shall see how they work out when I wash them not the tenants. I plan to double up the other ones previously purchased on bedroom windows so they will all be 160 wide. The backs on one set seemed to have broken apart....too high heat??? Inexpensive way to buy window treatments especially with the extra discounts.

These curtains look great. But they smell sour--almost like tuna. They are being returned.

These come out of the package very wrinkled, I haven't hung them yet because I use light curtains in the summer, so I'm not sure how hard it will be to get them out. The curtains seem like they will keep the cold out during the winter and block out light. I noticed there are little cracks in the backing where the curtains were folded, it looks funny because the light shines through the little spots, but they weren't bad enough for me to send them back. They a good value for the money.

I am very pleased with the curtains BUT... one is just slightly longer than the other. My husband says they smell awful and the color listed on the web site was "burgundy". I really wanted "red" curtains and took a chance. Good thing I wanted red, because I would NOT call them burgundy at all.

The metal grommets rusted onto the curtains. But they are very nice curtains and would do the job well.

The fabric and styling on these curtains are just right, but the white set came with rust marks around the grommets, and a very powerful 'bad fish' odor. A few reviews mentioned the odor, but it was stronger than I imagined. STP exchanged for another set without any hassle. The replacement set has only a couple of small rust spots, and the odor is not so strong. I washed on cold, tumbled on low in the dryer, hung while still damp, left the window open, used Febreeze....still have odor. Husband says he'll give it a few days, but if it doesn't dissipate, they'll have to go back.

I purchased these curtains for all the windows and the sliding door in the living room area of my house. These are a few of my observations about them....... 1- They look much better on a very wide pole 2-They shrink incredibly, about 5 or 6 inches from the length- so buy long or don't dry 3- Difficult to get all the wrinkles out 4- Buy double the width that you think you need- maybe even triple the valance width 5- Very slight pinholes in the lining that show when the sun is brightly shining through them All that being said, for the price- not such a bad deal. They actually look very nice when you deal with the issues and if you know the issues ahead of time.

Bought the 160" x 84" curtains for a large living room window that gets sun in the summer. These will do the trick-nothing fancy about them, but impossible to get wrinkles out. It is hard to find drapes that are this wide so it was nice I only had one panel on each side of the window instead of the usual 2. Because they are so wide I had to lay curtains out and iron each one twice because of the width on the ironing board. Quite a job. Also because they are cotton plus a backing-the creases are in for good. I did the best I could and they look ok. Don't think there is a solution to avoiding wrinkles in packaging. Curtains were the same length, but seem to be shorter on the ends--adjusted height of rod a bit and it helped. (Husband was not happy).Overall they will do until the perfect drape is found for this impossible large window.

The cotton is fine, the grommets are irregularly spaced and the insulation is somewhat thin, so they are not at all light blocking. That would have been ok for the price, but they off-gas something terrible. Two bottles of Febreze and a week on the close line in sunshine, wind and April showers and they still have some odor. It was so bad when I first hung them in our upstairs bedroom, it was the first thing you noticed when opening the front door. My husband thought the dog had an accident somewhere in our room. I sprayed them again and put them in the dryer with fabric softener and now they are not too bad. It took several weeks to get the smell tolerable. When they were first on the line, you could smell them from our deck.

I have these curtains over the majority of my view windows. The common problem of the wrinkles can be corrected by placing in the dryer with a wet towel for about 5 minutes. The curtains will come out hot and a tad damp. Iron them off with a steam iron and hang them immediately. You'll be in business. Only received one set with a minor blemish, price was so great...got over it!
