Reviewed by Divey from Philadelphia on Monday, March 18, 2013My fault: Ordered too small a size Not my fault in the 'not as advertised': 1) The color is darker and more yellowish than expected, 2) the loops that go around the rod are at least an inch longer than the picture shown. It's an awful look in my opinion, in addition to all the extra light coming in, 3) the curtains from the tippy top of the loop are closer to 52 - 53 inches tops if you pull on it, not the 54" said - the 2" made a big difference They're very utilitarian in design and perhaps function as advertised regarding thermo properties, I really don't know but don't doubt it all - and they are great for sun-glare. Had I chosen another color, and longer and wider, I probably would've been more satisfied. They look well-made enough. But for the above reasons, this will be my 1st return. So it's not an issue with quality. These might work fine for others.

The fabric is softer than I'd expected and not at all rubbery on the inside. I prefer the feel of a more natural fabric, so was happy with the outcome. Needed ironing. I'm glad to know they launder well without losing shape or shrinking. Nice curtains. Not blackout, but darkening.

They could have been a tad bit wider so they would go to the edges of the windows, but overall great curtains.

Like the muted colors - we have the sage, cream, and khaki and each color is nice. Really great to find them at such a good sale price!
