Our farmhouse is over 100 yrs old and it can be difficult to find window coverings that are reasonably priced without looking cheap. The stairwell and hallway are off white/lt. beige and these bring a wonderful pop of color to the landing. They look terrific. The insulation is an added bonus. I was hoping that I would not have to send 'em back because I was a little skeptical at first but they work fine for us .
