    I bought these for my son who has to wear steel-toed boots on his job. He likes socks that rise above the boot, so when I saw these I got him a couple of pairs. I can't comment on how they feel or wear or even if they'll hold up, but Thorlo has a reputation for being good and they were a great price at STP and long socks for guys are hard to find.

    This sock rises high on the calf, which is great when wearing high boots. The elastic at the top keeps the sock from sagging. The thick and bulky bottom cushions and provides comfort for the feet.
