    I bought these to replace some Thorlos that had finally worn out after about 10 years. They seem to be just as well-made and are certainly as comfortable as my last ones, so I hope they last just as long! Totally worth the money for such great socks. The feet are well-cushioned for long hikes.

    These are the only socks we wear. They are comfortable and supportive. And black ones work for business attire for those of us who wear black athletic shoes to work figuring no one else looks down, and we are tired of sore feet. Also great price, saved $100 buying these seconds (and neither of us could find the flaws.)

    Fortunately I have "bulky sock shoes" others for regular socks. Previously I have owned Thorlon sock . They lasted many years with frequient wear. When they were soiled after several years, I could not totally make them white again! OH well.Would prefer less bulky, but these are labeled heaviest...level 3.

    Thor Lo makes a great comfortable sock but compared to the rest of the industry their XL's are HUGE and thin spots develop fast on the soles and 2 Biggies, 1)Lackluster customer service 2) Elastic gets shot faster than the bulk brands.
