    Bought these originally for wear with boots, but now wear them whenever I need some extra warmth without the bulk. I wear men's support hose because of a medical condition, and these are great for casual wear because there is enough support in the calf area to compress the surface veins, and there is enough elastic to keep them up over the calf.

    these socks will keep the top of your boots from rubbing your shins and keep you a little warmer in the winter, the tops are snug and don't slide down and the soles are thick for extra cushion

    I needed a pair of socks that would work with a pair of tall boots. These socks are great! They are comfortable, durable and fit right. The socks are tall enough to be worn with the boots; they hit a little below the knee.
