Tibor Leather Trench Coat - Belted (For Women)

This is a great, all around coat; it has great details with a lot of vertical stitching on the back. It is a beautiful rich brown color.

I purchased this coat with a gift from my father for the door to door ministry work in the colder months of the year because it looked nice and warm. I wanted one half size too large so that a sweater could be worn under it and removed as the day got warmer. It is a perfect fit except the sleeves are about 2 to 3 inches too long. My arms are standard length for my 5'5'' height. It is not my favorite color but it is so hard to find a long leather coat in any other color besides black in the early part of the year. I was glad to find it online after a very unsucessful search of the local stores.

Runs a size or two too small; had to return it.

This was a great purchase, after searching and searching I found this gem of a coat. Great price wears beautifully!

Not flattering for size 16 women.

The XL was too tight in the sleeves, so that you could not wear anything but a blouse or light sweater underneath. The coat is a beautiful brown leather, and extremely well made. I was worried about the "pleated" back (Hey Sierra, Please show back views!) but they are sewn down, not bulky, to give the appearance of pleats. I'm conservative, and I liked it. But I had to return due to the fact it's just too small, even tho I usually fit into XL. Maybe if you get one size larger, it will fit better. Dissapointed I had to return it.

I know two other reviewers cited the styling of the back of this coat but I thought it was worth the risk to try it anyway. The leather is gorgeous, the medium fit me perfectly--esp in the chest and shoulders where often leather coats are too bulky--and it was just gorgeous, in front. The styling of the back is another world--it's pretty, if you want detailing. I didn't want the detailing, which consists of pleats that run from shoulders to waist, across the back. Like a fan in a way. The belt is attached, which is fine in and of itself, but it creates a fold or pucker in back when tied. Its placement was wrong for my body or the design of the belt just doesn't work. I did return this coat, but after significant debate. Such gorgeous leather and it seemed beautifully constructed (aside from back side styling). I would definitely consider another coat by this manufacturer.

Love the way this coat feels and looks, very soft leather. I believe I will get tons of use out of it.

I should have taken seriously the consumer who had mentioned the back of the coat. The pleats are not very classical. Also, it's really an over coat - a trench coat would is usually double-breasted. If no pleats in the back, I would have kept it. It is overall a very good fit for me--but as a fashion-oriented person found the back styling a little too ornate for my taste
