“I bought the hat mostly for sun protection and it does that well. However, where there is sun there is heat and the hat just does not breathe well. I still like it, but miss my old Outdoor Research hat that i got from Sierra a dozen years ago and recently lost. The Tilley is a replacement hat and, in my opinion, does not measure up to the OR.”
