Tilley Winter Merino Wool Hat (For Men and Women)

I walk a lot and am highly impressed with my first, stylish winter hat. Normally a baseball cap plus scarf type of person against the elements but took a chance and very nicely surprised!!! Ear-flaps and forehead-band does keep the hat on better in moderate winter wind. Hat only flew off once in a three week period from a wind tunnel gust- wished it had some kind of ties for mixed days when flaps would be too warm. Brim not as deep as I would have hoped against sun glare. Really a nice, stylish investment.

I'm not a hat person so usually wear knit caps during the winter just to keep warm. I decided to try this hat because of the pull down flaps to cover the ears and the brim to keep snow out of my eyes and from going down my back. I'm glad I did because I fell in love with the hat. Great quality, warm. stylish, comfortable...everything I could ask for. The only problem is that I'll have to remove the velcro on the inside of the band. It pulls my hair out when I take the hat off.

My husband loves his Tilly hat and when I saw this one on sale, I bought it and now see why he raves about it.

The hat is great, make shure you measure your head to get the right size

The hat fits well, and comes in sizes for big heads. It's fairly adjustable for fit. It can be as warm as a stocking cap but it also blocks the sun from your eyes and deflects the falling elements. It also has a pocket under the crown where you can carry some spare TP. Stylish and practical winter wear in or out of town. Mine arrived a bit creased from shipping but it won't be any worse for wear after I've owned it a week.

I wear hats year round and have a couple dozen. This has become my favorite winter hat. It is warm, looks good and holds it shape no matter what I do with it.
