I needed work boots. i would rate them higher, but they do say work boots in the descriptiom.

So these boots are good for long days outdoors but can also take him to a technical meeting. The fit is excellent and the design is supportive without rubbing or needing a breaking in period. I love Timberland foot ware for myself and my daughter and now for my husband because of these boots. The design of the sole doesn't pick up debri or loads of mud. The extra care taken in the design of the lacing creates good support for the ankle without binding which is important if you have a weak ankle like my husband, well meet too I guess we've both sprained one twice.
