“a handy alternative to full-leather boots when it's warmer outside. Quality, good materials and workmanship, comfortable and tough for casual wear (I can't speak to the hunting or military uses). Cream-colored sole is a bit bright - but I may try some black heel and sole dye to match up more with the shoe leather! Not a deal killer -- the effect now is somewhat "edgy" and different. The fabric inserts should ventilate the boot in hot weather, making these very useful here in summer New Mexico. (Well, most everyone else wears flip-flops around - I like shoes.....)”
