Timberland Abington Desert Boots (For Men)

These boots are a great buy for the money. They are beautifully finished inside and out and are so comfortable, I have purchased a second pair. I seldom find boots that I can put on first time and just love the way they fit and feel. I know some previous comments objected to the light colored soles but I think they look great just the way they are manufactured. This is a quality boot at a very reasonable price.

Timberland shoes are always a quality product. This boot is no exception. I bought them to hike in and they felt so fabulous on my feet, I bought an addtional pair. I generally wear a men's 7.5 but these were very roomy so 7 fit best. The interior footbed and finish are extraordinarily comfortable. Some folks complained about the light colored sole but I think it's just fine.

This is a really different looking shoe. If you want something a little funky, this is perfect. Well-made. I have slightly wide feet, and this shoe fits fine -- although it is sized too big. I usually am a 13, but had to reorder a 12.

I love Timberland shoes and boots they all are the most comfortable I own. These are typical Timberlands in that they are about a size to large but seeing as I have 3 different pairs of other styles I just ordered 10's instead of the 11's I usually would have ordered. Feel great and are light and cool but the whiteish sole is a bit funny looking

a handy alternative to full-leather boots when it's warmer outside. Quality, good materials and workmanship, comfortable and tough for casual wear (I can't speak to the hunting or military uses). Cream-colored sole is a bit bright - but I may try some black heel and sole dye to match up more with the shoe leather! Not a deal killer -- the effect now is somewhat "edgy" and different. The fabric inserts should ventilate the boot in hot weather, making these very useful here in summer New Mexico. (Well, most everyone else wears flip-flops around - I like shoes.....)

I usually wear a 10-11 size shoe, but I hat to get an 8.5 for these so I would recommend ordering a size smaller then needed. Also It would be nice if the very bottoms were also black, and not tan.

I was sorry that both the 12 and 11.5 were too big. I wear a narrow shoe, and couldn't find a good size in this shoe. Will try to stop next time I'm in Cheyenne.

Ignore the 'runs large' comment. ordered so and had to exchange for my normal size. otherwise, happy with the look and feel.

I like these boots. Theyre good-looking, and quite comfortable. The sole is cushiony making them easy on the feet, but the light color will dirty quickly. I'm not sure how easy it will be to clean b/c I haven't tried yet. Also, don't listen to STD about ordering a 1/2 size up. I did that, and then had to re-order my normal size and fork out for the extra shipping! These boots look more utilitarian than for fashion, but that works for me. Nothing like a good black boot to go with a black outfit!
