I bought these boots for my husband for his birthday. He loves them. Hes hoping for more snow in winter now so he can go hiking and hunting. I have created a monster!!!

I've given trail rides on horseback for a living for almost two decades. I'm buying my third pair of these boots so I have a pair for the future. These are the ONLY boots that allow me to sit on a horse for hours at a time in below zero weather and still have comfortable feet. I can also get off and work without my feet getting sweaty and then get back on my horse with dry comfortable feet. The leather foot fits in my stirrups. There is nothing better in my line of work. A good pair of socks and liners fit inside with no problem.

Laces lock at ankle before lacing higher up if you can figure out how to do it. There is no diagram. Plenty of room in my size for thick winter wool socks. Not enouogh arch support for me, will try different insoles. Good quality soft leather, but will still need some break-in. Tall, Gore Tex boots should be great in snow. Not too hot to wear all day, moving inside and out in cold weather. Great price for top notch boots.

Lugged soles good in the woods, extra roomy - good for thick socks plus plenty of insulationin thre boots. The high top boots give lots of ankle support. But don't buy unless you like a high top boot.

This is the best boot my husband has worn. He is a surveyor, works outside year round and is an avid backpacker and hiker. He needs a waterproof, Vibram soled hiking boot with excellent support and these boots fit the bill. Incredible price for an incredible boot!
